Absolutely not! Oahu is a beautiful island full of majestic beaches. Kailua is voted among the best beaches in the world year after year, and our goal is to keep it that way! The carts can help you get closer parking to the beach, but they are not allowed on the sand or beach paths. Please always pick up your trash and pack out what you pack in!
The carts have a range of approximately 50 miles on a full charge. To preserve battery life, we kindly ask that batteries not be allowed to drop below 25%. Each cart comes with a charger and can be charged using a standard 120V wall plug.

Kailua Carts LLC offers two 4-person carts as well as a 6-person cart. One person is allowed per seat.
The vehicles are allowed on streets 35MPH and under. Out of respect for the community and to help with the flow of traffic, we kindly ask that you stay off main roads as much as possible and stick to back roads and detours. This makes operating these vehicles safer, reduces traffic, and allows riders to enjoy the beautiful neighborhoods Kailua has to offer.
Never. Please stick only to the street and grass (if using for golf). Our carts are not equipped to handle tough terrain. Also, avoid very steep inclines, as this drains the battery and carts are not made to climb steep hills.
NO! Golf carts are still motor vehicles, and DUI rules apply. Hawaii does not allow open containers in any motor vehicle, and this law will be enforced.
